Every 7 minutes a child is bullied. 1 in 4 students are affected by bullying. Higher Impact Entertainment’s Don’t Be A Bully. Be the IMPACT! Assembly Program is a high-energy, interactive, and live action Bully Prevention presentation offered to schools located across the nation that teaches students the importance of not being a bully.

During the 55 minute presentation our motivational speaker and hilarious mascot Funkey Munkey will be empowering the students on how they can BE THE IMPACT. They will learn how they can keep their school a safe bully-free zone by using interactive game, comedic skits, memorable illustrations, and an acrostic of the word IMPACT.

I – Impress

Our goal as future world changers is to leave a good impression on everyone we come in contact with. Teachers want the students to be successful and there are rules to follow that will help students have a safe experience while learning. It is important to listen to our teachers and follow their instructions. We need to be sure to make sure the choices we make are good choices, and the people we look up to are making good choices as well.

M – Motivate

Starting everyday by encouraging yourself will help start your day on the right foot. Every student is awesome, amazing, able, smart, and beautiful. Not only is it important to encourage and motivate yourself, but it makes others feel good when you motivate and encourage them too! Rather than leaving others out, it is important to accept everyone. Everyone is unique. It’s important to build each other up rather than tear each other down.

P – Positive

It’s very easy to get caught up with a world full of negativity, but we will let our positivity shine! It is important to say positive things, do positive things, and think positive things! We must choose to be kind, caring, respectful, and in control of our actions. Being a bully is not positive! We must make the effort to be a friend.

A – Achieve

Our goal is to keep schools and our community a bully-free zone! There will be many challenges and obstacles that will make achieving our goal difficult, but we must rise above hate and bullying. We must rise above the temptations that come our way. By keeping our eyes on our goal and working hard towards our goal we will accomplish our goal of having a bully-free school.

C – Courage

If you are bullied, sometimes it can be scary and feel like you’re alone. But we are not alone. If we experience being bullied, we must not keep it to our self. We must have the courage to tell a teacher, our parents, or even a trusted adult. If we’re not the one being bullied, but we witness someone being bullied, we must be a friend and help them! We must report the bullying to our teacher, parent, or a trusted adult.

T – Together

This school is a team. We are a family. It is important to be there for each other and support one another. By working together as a team anything is possible. The teachers want nothing but the very best for their students. They want them to be safe and successful every time they walk into the doors of the school.
